A Writer's Affirmations

I am a WRITER. I live. I experience. I feel. I write what I feel.

As I WRITE, I experience life in ways only dreamed. My DREAMS make others FEEL and LIVE through my work.

That which I WRITE becomes a living, GROWING entity, and takes on its own personality. I CREATE, then I GUIDE, then I WATCH. Then I let my story loose on the world.

Each story is unique. But each story is the same. Because THEY ARE ME. I WRITE what I am. And I am a unique person who has lived and continues to live and experience and feel.

My duty as a WRITER is to myself. I must feel each and every breath of every story. I must imbue each moment with emotion. I must ensure life, energy, and vitality within each character, each scene, each story.

As I WRITE and DREAM daily, I will become FREE from the bonds that imprison my soul and my emotion. I will become the man that I am destined to be.

I am a WRITER and my voice is heard.
