Another Racist Shirt

This shirt was sited at A&F about a month prior to the release of the infamous racist shirts, it was still being sold despite the recall.

Characters read Li Hong Zhang (Ly Hong Chuong). A Chinese official from the 1800s during Europe's invasion of China. He was forced by Europeans to sign treaties giving Chinese land over to European nations. He is considered by many to be a symbol of China's Century of Humiliation as a result of foreign invasion.

A&F claims no intention of racism with the marketing of their Asian themed shirts. This shirt proves otherwise. Clearly research has been done on Asian history to find this man's name. Humor to A&F is specifically finding information to remember Asian's colonized past.

An apology has been made with the other Asian shirts. But what does the apology mean when this shirt still displays on shelves one month after other Asian shirts have supposedly been removed?
