Biography
This cat is a boy, the little one of two children in his family. Kinda spoiled,
a bit TOO naïve who’s still SINGLE in his 23. He has a beautiful
sister (not as beautiful as you guys might think, may be) who has finished
her college ages in IPB (Indonesian abbreviation for Bogor Institute of Agriculture),
and now is robbed (read:
married) by a good guy. They seem to live a "happily ever after"-story.
This bad-tasted cat was used to move everywhere. When he was once a little kitten, he moved to Jakarta, and then he had his child age in Istiqamah Kindergarten, and then he stayed in Bunyu Island in Kalimantan, enjoying his first 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in elementary school. He passed his 4th to 8th grade in Lirik, Riau Province, and then again he moved to Prabumulih, Palembang to continue his school age from 8th to 11th grade. As his parents accidentally moved to Aceh meanwhile there wasn’t any High School in the surroundings, he entered the dormitory of Al-Azhar High School for a year and half in Medan, North Sumatra. When he passed his High School, he took a chance in Art & Design Faculty in Bandung Institute of Technology (it’s ITB in Indonesian abbreviation). Luckily, he passed it in his first shot. Anyway, he’s just active in his own drawing, and it makes him abandon his college homework. He’s still lucky to have the 3rd chance to survive in ITB. Now, he is running a count down of last semeseter, which would decide if he'll be going out from ITB with the status of "graduated" _or_ "graved".
Artwork
Biography
His Artworx history is a bit confusing, because when he was a kitten, he liked
to mix Mario Bros pic with Hong Kong Comics (Western comedy and Oriental fighting
style. Go figure!). In elementary school, he was so fanatic about Dragon Ball
Z, and it made him draw every male muscle in boxy-shaped. And it was amazing
that he could change ENTIRELY into Sailor Moon style in his Junior High School
age. All sketches he made were all females (except Tuxedo Mask), and all is
Sailor Soldier-alike. He kept drawing that way until he stepped in High School,
which when the Street Fighter Zero became his guide to draw. It’s odd
enough since he once disliked Street Fighter series and never wanted to have
any of the games. And so on and so forth until college age, the present time.
He likes to read the hilarious manga of Ken Akamatsu (mangaka of Love Hina,
Ai Ga Tomaranai etc) that makes his pic become wacky as well. And what’s
worse, is when this fan of house furry pet glanced Kaze no Sylpheed (the Windy
Sylpheed), manga made by Yukihisa Motojima about racing horse drama, as his
favorite comics, that made him like to draw a half human half animal, called
Anthromorphic/Anthro/Furry. He himself knew that term a year after he started
to draw one. Moreover, he once DID hate canines in his childhood, and he always
took a chance to toss any stones to any canines he seen. But now, dunno why,
after watching Balto Cartoon, reading mangas about canines, he became one
of the canine huge fans in his real life, although his family never allows
any canines around. You can say, “struck down by calamity”, perhaps.
In-Depth
Question of Preferences
What kind of genre are the "Daily-Themed"
and "Mistery" Manga?
Manga which tells a story of a drama, daily, which has the setting of... well,
nothing so far from my current life.Romance, life difficulties and how social
life works or screws up the main character's life. I also like some with a
little touch of action and fantasy, but not too much. The "mystery"
manga is like you watch series of "Facts or Fictions". It tells
the rare and weird phenomenon which happens to the random main character,
mostly about "parallel dimension", "ghost" or rare stuff
like that, but not too much like being called to another world. In reverse,
I don't read too much the action and fantasy manga like Naruto or Inuyasha,
which is absolutely popular, In short, just say it "Drama" themed
Manga, but not too much "shoojo" (girl)-touch in it.
Can you give me an example or reference?
Yes, even I think you should try to read it, becaue of course, it is not mainstream, different, and not all of them are converted into anime, unfortunately, due to low popularity they have. These are manga's I often read over and over again.
-Salad Days, by Inokuma Shinobu; It tells the random story of romantic story the boys have toward the girl they have a crush on. The story is really nicely told and the artworks, also story telling are astonishing.
-Piku Piku Sentaro or Shibao, by Tsubasa Nunoura; Sentaro tells a story about a pet rabbit who's taken care by an illustrator. They have a lot of nice moment together, although in other side the illustrator, named Baku Kosawa, sometimes have a hard time between his deadlines, taking care of the selfish small bunny. Shibao tells a story about a Shiba dog who makes a journey to find his Mother, through a lot of cities and situations. many dramatic and humoric scenes happen along his journey.
-Ja Ja Uma Grooming Up or Patlabor, by Masami Yuuki; Grooming Up tells a story of a city-boy named Kuze Shunpei who fell on right in front of Watarai Horse Farm. Then, he has a crush on the farm girl named Watarai Hibiki, and he tries to be a man who can be capable to live up Watarai farm, along with her.
-Kaze no Sylpheed or Aoki Shinwa MARS by Yukihisa Motojima; these comics tell the story which is kinda look alike, that is about the story of rising a great racing horse from a poor rancher.this is the main inspiration of me to draw Furry Character, especially Horses.
-Kotaro Makaritoru series by Hiruta Tatsuya; it has entered the 2nd sequel, "L" after having debut almost ten year ago. With fresh humor and interesting story lines, details and storytelling, we are taken to Tsurugamine High School, where the long-haired boy named Kotaro Shindo, lives up a life of a very pervert teenager with an amazing ninja-skills. Everybody want his long hair or himself to be punished, including Mayumi Watase, his childhood friend, or his rival the Baldy Samurai Tenkoji Teruhiko. They often have a lot of dangerous yet fun attractions in their advantures.
-Baby and I (Akachan to Boku by) Marimo Ragawa; this manga tells the story of motherless family. Together with his father, the main character, Takuya Enoki, has to put up a life of rising up his baby brother, Takuya Minoru. A lot of dramatic scenes will make your heart touched and sometimes flow your tears. There's still alot of manga I like, but I think it's too much to tell here. I will just say some another my favorite authors, like Mitsuru Adachi, Naoki Urasawa, Yoko Shoji, and other "mystery' author like Matsumoto Yoko, Subaru Ueno, and Watari Chie.
Why do you like Kemono Artworks?
What does it differ with the Furry?
May be because I read manga much more than western comics. Basically, there's
no much different between Kemono and Furry, because the main intent is drawing
a fantasy creature, half-human and half-animal. But there's a different touch
in Kemono Arts I prefer much better than furry Arts. Again, may be because
I'm more influenced by the mangas.
What kind of Drama TV Series
and Sitcoms do you like?
This doesn't differ too much from manga. I like the daily story,
and moreover about friendship, like "The Simpsons" Cartoon, "Boston
Public", "Malcom in the Middle", "Ally Mc Beal",
or "Gilmore Girls". I also like to watch a "Mystery/Sci-Fi"
series like "Fact or Fiction", "Freaky Links", "The
Pretender", "The First Wave", "Mysterious Ways",
"Quantum Leap", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel".
I like most of sitcoms, especially "Friends", "The Nanny,"
and "Jesse".
What title of game do you like?
It's mostly considering of action, platforming, and 2D-actions. The most title
I remember is Rockman/Rockman X series and Super Mario Bros. And the fighting
game I like is mostly come of Capcom, because sometimes they know how to screw
up your mind with an unthinkable idea, like Marvel vs Capcom series or Pocket
Fighter.
What kind of music do you like
precisely?
As long as it has a dance-like rythm, i will like it. That's why I pick action
games theme as my favorite because I can move my body with it. Also, I like
some techno-touches, like in the 80-es, you must know some hits like "Electric
Youth" by Debbie Gibson, "Bizarre Love Triangle"
by New Order, "Enola Gay" by OMD, or "Wouldn't
it Be Good" by Kershaw Nik. I still can take some techno-touches
to the limit of Daft Punk's Discovery Album, but I can't take much any of
"Discotheque" of U2, now that's off my limit.
I also like some slow new-age like Enya, but I can't hear any hit of song
like Air Supply's "Good Bye", or "In a Rush".
What is a Maduran Satay?
In case you don't know, Maduran Satay is a food which has small pieces of
meat (usually chicken or goat), roasted on an ember, then dished together
with a peanut sauce. See
here for the details, because I'm no cook.
What is a "Cheapy TV Series"
like? And why Popeye?
Cheapy TV Series often tells a story of main character, who oftenly is expelled,
disregarded by the step-family. The character often receives a lot of silly
punishment, beyond your imaginary. There's also a cheap story telling a protagonist
girl who loves an antagonist boy and the antagonist girl (of course) disagrees.
but the way protagonist expresses the dark side is way TOO unbalanced, like
torturing the main character, grouping with her silly alliances, planning
a bad idea for the main character, and then suddenly the irrational story
keeps flowing without a clear reason, like suddenly there's a good fairy helping
the protagonist, and so on, and so on. I'll make a list of the cheapy storyline,
just for easier you to understand it.
(1) The main protagonist is
often disregarded or punished by step-family member.
(2) The main antagonist often makes an alliance to make a horrible plan to
hurt protagonists.
(3) An incredible "lucky" or "fairy" comes to protagonist without any clear
reason.
(4) The inheritance-snatching storyline.
(5) A handicapped character is often disregarded in the story and is just
kept as "object of torture or rescued"
(6) The protagonist often "prays to 'god'" with a lot of tears, and sometimes...
Voila! the magical thing happens!
(7) The teachers in school (if ever there) are usually mean, or characterized as an idiotic or cartoonish person
Those are the main flaws you might often find in the cheapy TV series (it's
possibly much more, depends on what trend goes on). In my country, these series
are often produced by Multivision Plus, Star Vision or anything like that.
The producers are often from the Punjhabi families (usualliy
it is Raam Punjhabi, Dhamoo Punjhabi, Gobhind Punjhabi, Manoj Punjhabii),
or I say, "Punjhabi Clans". I DO loathe them. please note that I
do NOT hate Indians (for God's sake, I am NOT a RACIST!). I will not hate
the Punjhabi Clans if they don't make such trashy series, really.
And oh yes, I loathe Popeye (especially the New Popeye or with Popeye Jr... whatever), because the animation sucks, the story sucks, and the jingle absolutely DOES suck. With the same craziness, I prefer Warner Bros crazy impossible scenes because they are more creative and better to handle the story tellings and spontaneus scenes. It's also like I love Classic Tom & Jerry cartoon, but I LOATHE New Tom & Jerry or T & J Kids.
Why do you not like "Role
Playing Games"?
It's more to "do not care", not "hate". because I don't
like complicated stuff or any story of middle-era kingdom. That's the reason
I don't play any online game, such as Ragnarok.
What's wrong with boxer-type
dogs or angoran cats? And what's with the amphibies and reptiles?
May be because I can't stand to see their face. And in amphibies or reptiles
case, it's more to "phobic" than "hate". I am so phobic
of them without any clear reason (Does phobic need a reason, by the way?).
Why don't you like soccer? Do you not like sports?
Absolutely. I have a lot of bad memories concerning that game. I don't like that game, and within underpressure in the elementary school(thanks to a stupid subject named "sports") eventually that game kinda traumatized me. And somehow I don't understand why 20 people would really go brutal to snatch a small tiny ball. It will be fair if each of them has one. (Although it sounds silly, isn't it?)
It's not like I don't like sports. I do some. But the most I do, is a merely athletic, like jogging, running, or easy stuff like that.
