These two pictures are of a character from the manga Vagabond by Inoue Takehiko. The character's name is Takezou (later known as legendary samurai Musashi Miyamoto), but when I first laid eyes on him, immediately I thought about Will. He looks exactly how I picture Will in my mind, with the exception of the hair color-- Takezou has darker hair than Will's dirty blond. Funny thing is, Will and Takezou have many a thing in common, both being arrogant to a fault. I'm currently reading through the Japanese version, but I recently found out that Viz has released up to book #15 in English (I have up to tankouban 15 in the Japanese version).
The eyes are what really drew me to the character, because, although its not yet revealed in A Makeshift Triangle, Will is a quarter Japanese and it shows mainly in his eyes. Intense, huh? |
