The Men of the 13th TAS

Rude

Born in 1901, in the jungles of South America, to American parents, didn't help  soften this young mans journey.
Often misunderstood, he would find trouble and hardship at ever corner. He always managed, but would carry the scars of his youth for years to come.
At 19 years of age he flew his first plane, a Curtiss Jenny. He was in love.
Flight offered a reprieve from the anger
which he had carried with him for so many years.
Recruited by the British, he flew valiantly in WWI. His plane of choice, the
SE-5. Sortie after sortie he saved his comrades from certain death, recording kill after kill.
WWII, the carnage continues, as Rude hunts the skies, searching out evil wherever it may hide it's puny little head.
So on your next sortie, beware of a
P-51 Mustang high in the sky, for it just might be the one they call Rude!
