Lungs in Poor Shape meet on the second Thursday of each month at 1.30pm and rotate 
their venue between Somerset and Ulverstone. The location is advertised in the Advocate 
under News of the North West.

L.I.P.S. happenings: 
L.I.P.S. member John Cock intends to do the Burnie “10” again this year as a fundraiser in 
memory of Rebecca O’Donnell. L.U.S.T. joined L.I.P.S. at Ulverstone RSL bistro for 
L.I.P.S 6th Birthday on June 12th. Wilma Athermis and Leonie Grzta again provided 
entertainment. 
Thanks largely to the efforts of John Yeats L.I.P.S is again meeting at Devonport. 
Doreen and Steve will definitely not be standing for re-election at L.I.P.S.’ A.G.M. at 
Yarraandoo on September 11. 
Doreen and I hope to see you all at the Christmas Luncheon on December 5th.

L.U.S.T. 

Lungs Under Stress and Trauma meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm in the 
Community Health Centre at Kings Meadows. Contact:-Clarrie on 6334 0610 or Laurie on 
6326 1904. LUST also has several items which can be borrowed by members or hired by 
others such as a scooter, nebulisers and an airline compatible oxygen bag. 

I would like to present the 5th Annual Report of the Lungs Under Stress and Trauma 
support group (L.U.S.T). 
During the last twelve months we have held our meetings regularly on the 1st Tuesday of 
each month at 1pm at the Kings Meadows Community Health Centre. The following 
Monday is 'Bingo' day. This is held at the same time and place and is fun for everyone.
We have had an average of 21 members at our meetings over the last ten months and 
gained two new members, Joyce and John Heazlewood from Moss Vale, NSW. A big 
welcome to you both. We don't have a meeting in January as a lot of members are away 
etc. On the meeting day in November is the Melbourne Cup and we usually go to the 
Riverside Hotel Motel
