Name: Ri Houjun Info: Chichiri was the 4th Suzaku warrior to be found. Miaka stumbles upon him once in the woods (Chichiri had saved her from an attack), but he disappeared quickly; later they discover him near Tomahome's home, realizing he is a Suzaku warrior. Chichiri loves to turn SD (super deformed), and it is so cute! He knows many magical attacks and tricks (impersonation, blasts, teleportations) which he learned from Taiitskun. Chichiri is the oldest seishi, and one of the calmest during harsh situations. He is often a leader, and always has a plan or a good idea (How smart! no da!). Chichiri wanders around, and has the appears to be much like a monk. Chichiri also has the cute habit of saying "no da" after almost every sentence-"no da" would be something of like "ya know" in english (according to Pioneer), just much cuter! When Chichiri was 18, then known as Houjun, he was engaged to a girl named Kouran. Houjun, Kouran, and Houjun's best friend Hikou were almost inseperable. The three were very good friends. Houjun and Kouran were preparing to be married when Hikou, who had feelings for Kouran, thought he should tell her how he felt. Hikou kissed Kouran and Houjun witnessed it. The following day Kouran told Houjun she could not marry him. Houjun, enraged thinks this is because she is in love with Hikou. Houjun and Hikou get into a huge fight during a giant storm-the whole place is flooding-during the fight, Hikou slips and falls into the flooding river. Houjun tries with all his might to save his friend but he can not. Suddenly, a sharp log is being carried downstream by the river and hits Houjun in the eye, loosing his eye and leaving a scar. Everyone was killed in the flood, Hikou, Kouran, and Houjun's family (Father, Mother, Sister, and Brother), and even Houjun himself is almost killed (he was so sad and devasted he tried to kill himslef), but is saved by a girl named Kouran, who shared the same name as his fiancee and looked sorta like her. Saddened Houjun wandered around Kotou and its borders for a while, and eventually created the smiling mask we see him wearing quite often to hide his past. Sad eh?
