Both of these cats are from The Complete Book Of Tatting, by Rebecca Jones, ISBN 0-916896-39-0.

This cat is supposed to be running, but I put the head in the wrong place, and all I could think was it was climbing the curtains.

These two proper ladies are also from the Rebecca Jones book, The Complete Book of Tatting.
I mounted them on fabric and then placed them in a small bi-fold picture frame as a gift for a friend.

This parrot, designed by Mary Parrot, was a gift for a bird-lover. When I was done with it, I carefully glued it onto a small framed mirror, just to see what sort of effect I would get.

This was an idea for a bookmark I was playing with, using Rebecca Jones' cat face. Click on the pattern to go to a page explaining how I did it.

This dragon pattern is by Pam Palmer. I worked it in a size 100 thread, and it still came out almost 8 inches (20 cm) long.

This angel is done using Riet's 'Matilda Angel' pattern. I will include a link to the pattern as soon as it is working again. I worked it with two strands of DMC rayon embroidery floss. The scan unfortunately doesn't really show the brilliant depth of color to this thread. It does work up softer than the cotton threads I've tatted with.
