Starting From The Alpha Chapter...
...and now the great Kappa Men from the Tau Chapter
- In the Summer of 2003, Kappa Psi Kappa expanded into
the city of Columbia, SC. This person would spark the
interest of many that were to follow thereafter. He
set a legacy in place that no man could follow or
recreate, but the current brothers of the Tantalizing
and Tenacious Tau Colony have expanded upon his legacy
and taken the colony into greater heights to now
become the Tau Chapter.
Upon his chartering of the Tau Colony on July 12,
2003, two smooth and sophisticated gentlemen followed
his footsteps starting their pledge process on the
Fall 2003 line on October 10, 2003. This duo made
their way through those Baby Blue and Gold sands to
enter into Kappa Land on November 7, 2003. These two
men were Expunged Diamond "Suave" and C.
E. "Debonair" and are known as The Knights of
Klass.
These men actively recruited throughout Columbia, SC.
To gain some more dedicated, active, t-shirt wearing
brothers and thus 2 diamonds came out of the rough to
join these pretty boys. These two gentlemen began
their track on January 30, 2004 and gained another
diamond on their Spring line on February 21, 2004.
This late addition did not deter the duo, because they
caught their fellow diamond up to become a Triple
Threat.
Now these 3 diamonds have made their own tracks in the
Baby Blue and Gold sands to follow the foundation that
was already laid for them. They now join their
brothers to make the Tau Colony transform into the Tau
Chapter. These 3 Diamonds are S. T. "N-TICE",
Expunged Diamond "N-RAPTURE", and T. M.
"N-TRIGUE".
These three diamonds kept the trend going and kept the sands fresh for a new line to follow behind. Their scent was quickly picked up by a line of 5 members that began on May 7th. The Tau Chapter was about to double in size with the intake of one single line, but this line was not as strong as the previous lines. The line quickly started to fall apart with one member dropping the first weekend. He was the first falling star to come off of the line from out of the Black Beyond. Then, two more stars fell from the skies shortly afterward. It was looking to be a bad semester for the Tantalizing Tau Chapter, but the two stars left were shining bright and were not showing any signs of fading away. So, the Tau Chapter was left to a Devastating Duo, but on May 29 in the far distance of the beyond another light began to shine. This was the third and final addition to the Summer 2004 Line. These three perservered through the storm to make it into the baby blue and gold skies of Kappa Land.
We present to Columbia, SC and everyone else, the Summer 2004 Line consisting of B. S. "Frost Bite", D. R. "Sub-0", and R. B. "Arctic." These 3 stars have come to join the Tantalizing, Tau Chapter to make us even more kappealing and to let everyone know that we are here and we are not going anywhere.
Today, the Tau Chapter actively participates in the
events of the fraternity, national community service
projects, and in local events and service projects in
Columbia, SC as well as other local areas and states.
The chapter now consists of 5 ferocious active
members and Chapter
Advisor.
Now that you have been enlightened on our great
legacy, do you think that you can stand the test and
make your own tracks across the Baby Blue and Gold
sands? To join our tantalizing brothers who are the
best. Don't get lost in the sands, because we are all
diamonds and cubic zirconias just won't do.
Watch out Columbia, SC a new fraternity is in town and we are not letting anyone bring us down.
