AYIA NAPA
In this area of the Island of Cyprus, it has some of the best beaches on offer in Cyprus; Nissi beach in particular is one of the best beaches, with golden sands and clear blue water. This in mind in the height of the season it gets very crowded, and is very easy to loose little ones who have a tendency to wonder off. Like most beaches in Cyprus there is a great variety of water sports on offer.

The small harbour of Ayia Napa, which is still there, is the perfect place to sit with a nice cool drink, and do a bit of people watching as is Agia Napa Square.
In the centre of the town you will find plenty of places to eat and drink, also lots of shops for everything from food, clothes and souvenirs. In the middle of the town square there is a 16th century medieval monastery and you will also find a Marine Life Museum, the first one in Cyprus. And again, many of Agia Napas many restuarants bars, and clubs. On a summer evening the square is mad and packed as many revellers set out on their clubbing evenings and nights.
There is also a new water park in Ayia Napa, the biggest of its kind in Europe. The water park has a theme based on 'Ancient Greece' you can find yourself floating down 'Odyssee River', or taking a nice relaxing soak in 'Aphrodite's Bath'. Or if it's thrill seeking your after, then there is plenty of fast slides and water rides. If you have little children, or even big ones there is a special pool dedicated just for
them. A great day out, it makes a change from a day on the beach, as many are usually spent in Cyprus.
