Gender; Male
Age; 17
D.O.B; 7th April 1984
Faction; The Nine
Occupation; Student and full-time cynic
Appearence;
Hair; Nate was growing his hair into a long pony-tail, but got sick
of it and decided to have it cut off, by himself. As such, his hair looks
really strange, hanging in long, spikey bangs that reach down to his mouth
at the front and shorten the further towards the back of his head you get.
Nate dyes his hair dark blue.
Eyes; Normally a rich hazel, Nate's eyes are seen to be completely black whenever he uses his powers, creating quite an intimidating effect.
Build; Nates stands at 5' 11'' and looks really skinny, as if there were no muscle to him at all, as such, he never really seems to stand out in a crowd.
Clothing; Nate's usual clothes consist a pair of ripped-up jeans, heavy, black boots, a simple T-Shirt and a jacket that usually looks too big for him. He also is always seen wearing a pair of cotton sweat-bands, one to each wrist.
Status; Outsider
Personality; Nate is an extremely jaded individual, he sees the negative side to everything, constantly thinking the worst of people before he even gets to know them. He's constantly making little side-swiping comments about others. He's sarcastic, withdrawn and extremely bitter. He has little to no faith in people, his usual theory about them is 'in a group they're mindless, heartless and rarely conscious of the evils they do, as individuals they're cruel, petty, vindictive and manipulative'. When confronted on his cynicism, he'll point out that due to his past experiences he's quite entitled to it, but will rarely ever tell anyone what these past experiences are.
Goals; Nate really doesn't have that many goals, all he knows is he wants out of Edenville, he just doesn't know how or why yet.
History; The first and only child born to Timothy and Margaret Morgan, Nate was born and raised in New York City. He lived a fairly average life until he hit his teens, then he became awkward, disobedient, and basically Hell on two legs. Days on end would go by without Timothy and Margaret seeing their son, and when they did, he was usually too drunk or hung over to pay them any notice. Things got more and more volatile in the family, Timothy and Margaret having too literally force their son to go to school in the morning before he got expelled. This continued until just after Nate's 16th birthday and an 'event' that none of the family will ever, ever talk about when asked. Nate and his family moved to Edenville shortly after the 'event' in hopes that the quiet, subdued lifestyle there would help Nate. Nate arrived at Edenville High School hot on the heels of the many rumours regarding his time in New York and as such, never truly settled in. He carried on as best he could through school though, albeit friendless and pretty much devoid of a social life. Until a week ago, and that was when the dreams started, they were vivid, extremely realistic and disturbing, they depicted people he knew from school, the city of Edenville, frozen, the streets completely empty except from himself and eight others. He's been on edge since then, and will soon find out what they mean....
Powers; Nate is a weather-wielder. This means that he can control every
aspect of the weather he can think of, e.g. Lightning, rain, thunder etc.
While this may sound pretty simple he can't just point in any direction
and expect a thunder-bolt to strike his enemy down, he needs to focus on
the cloud it's coming from, the charges that create it, everything. Nate
is immune from the weather patterns he calls up, so he could quite simply
call up 350 mph winds and stand at the centre of them, barely getting his
hair mussed up, everyone else, however, are subject to the full fury of
whatever Nate is using, so whilst he's standing happily in the centre of
these winds, his allies will probably be forced to take shelter or get
ripped apart in the maelstrom. A strong factor in Nate's control of the
weather is his mood, so if he's really PO'ed there's no way he'll be able
to summon up clear skies and sunshine, this can happen on a sub-conscious
level too. When using his powers, Nate's eyes cloud over and they'll be
pitch black all over. As the story progresses it will become quite clear
that there's more to Nate's power than meets the eye, and that's going
to spell very bad times for The Nine.
Nate is created, owned, played etc, etc, by Me.
