Shelley | The Thomas Paternity Debacle
(contains multiple horrible, selfish, cruel misdeeds) Taylor didn't tell Ridge she was pregnant with his child because she saw him with Brooke and she was jealous and hurt. She decided he "didn't deserve" to know he was going to be a father. Taylor loves making these snap judgments about other people. When Taylor's doctor gave her advice that no doctor worth the paper their degree is printed on would give--to lie about her child's paternity to "avoid stress"--she decided to go along with it instead of questioning it or getting a second opinion. Strange behavior from someone who is not only a doctor, but a psychiatrist, and ought to have known that lying for nine months would cause more stress than coming clean. Taylor stood there and lied to Ridge's face about the baby being Thorne's. When Taylor and Ridge were alone together and he put his hand on her stomach to feel the baby kick, Taylor still didn't tell him the truth. Taylor strung Thorne along for months, letting him believe they would have a chance together. When Thorne finally got fed up and was about to walk out on her, Taylor said, "I'll try harder," and kissed him to get him to stay. When Brooke found out the truth about Taylor's pregnancy, just a few weeks before Taylor's due date, Taylor begged her to keep the truth from Ridge. Taylor suddenly changed her mind when she found out Brooke and Ridge were going to get married. She made a couple of feeble efforts to tell Ridge the truth, when all she had to do was tell Stephanie, because she knew that Stephanie would get the news to him no matter where he was. Taylor's selfishness and lies prevented Ridge from being there for his child's birth...although Brooke ended up taking the blame because she moved up the date of her wedding so Taylor wouldn't be able to disrupt it with her suddenly important news. When Brooke announced she was pregnant, Taylor forgot about the lame excuse for her lies--to avoid stress--and demanded that Brooke prove it to her or else she, Taylor, would tell Ridge the truth. Taylor was threatening to tell the truth NOT because it was the right thing to do, but to blackmail someone else. She also had genuine nerve to be acting all self-righteous and accusing Brooke of lying about her pregnancy when she was in fact lying about her own pregnancy, and had been for months. After Thomas was born, Taylor let Ridge hold him while she went outside to THINK about telling him the truth. Neither Thorne nor Brooke was anywhere near the scene, and she was no longer pregnant, so she couldn't duck behind the "stress" excuse. She still decided not to tell him. Taylor suddenly and out of the blue decided to tell Ridge the truth, then sat back and let Ridge scream at Thorne and Brooke while she looked smug. When Ridge (briefly) turned on her, the person who started all the lies, Taylor had the nerve to look surprised. When Taylor tried to absolve herself of her lies and deceptions with Ridge, she had the nerve to say that she wanted to tell Ridge the truth, but she saw how happy he was with Brooke--but then Brooke "lied" about her own pregnancy. She kept changing the subject to the pregnancy that Brooke supposedly lied about. She never ONCE took responsibility for her own actions. She blamed it all on Brooke and Thorne, and acted like they prevented her from telling the truth for a solid year, during which there were countless opportunities for Taylor to come clean, which she did not take. When Ridge was torn about his marriage to Brooke, Taylor decided to pressure him using Thomas, who she'd referred to as her "weapon." (This from a woman who'd accused Brooke of using her kids to get to Ridge.) She constantly whined to Ridge about how newborn Thomas "missed him," and said that each day Ridge was missing more of being with Thomas. She declared that she and Thomas were "a package deal" and Ridge had to be married to her to be a father to Thomas. This was a complete turnaround from her previous stance when Bridget was thought to be Ridge's daughter. Then, Taylor insisted that Ridge didn't have to be married to Brooke in order to be a father to Bridget. |
Cranky Trudy | I murdered Caroline. I could have saved her, being the great oncologist that I am, but the moment I clapped eyes on Ridge I knew I had to have him. It was enough having to deal with Brooke but I knew his mommy would come around eventually and help me overcome that little obstacle. Caroline was another matter altogether, everybody thought she was just so wonderful and Ridge was totally devoted. So while I knew of something that would have saved her life I kept it to myself and let her die. So there! |
Cranky Trudy | Okay, I confess. I really
wanted to get it on with Pierce. What a dream boat that man was. Being the
world renowned psychiatrist that I am, I knew full well that you can't
make anyone do something that is morally or ethically repulsive through
hypnosis. But no one needed to know that I knew that! All you smartie
pants posters were just out to ruin my fun, admit it!
No, I saw Bailey's hypnosis scam as a glorious opportunity for Meeeee! I could have had my way with that hunka, hunka burning love absolutely guilt fee. Blameless. Halo in tact in fact! I really wanted that man. Ridge is just a one minute man (at best) and the only reason I'm sticking with him is to keep him away from that slut, Brooke. I really hate her! And besides, I'm the most beautiful woman on the planet and I should get what I want. Boy, if I ever find out who tipped Pierce off to Bailey's plan there is going to be some serious butt-kickin hell to pay! You don't know who it was do you? Couldn't have been Brooke because she would have let it happen and made darn sure Ridge found out. She's a homewrecking slut and would have used the opportunity to ruin my marriage so she could get Ridge back. Boy, would I like to know who interfered with my "innocent" fun with Pierce, any ideas? |
Taylor's Ugly | I committed perjury, by signing
a document, to petition Ridge & Brooke's marriage be annulled, where
it stated I had been faithful during my marriage to Ridge.
I knew if the judge learned I had intercourse-- with my former patient no less-- he never would have upheld my marriage to Ridge. |
