“Just go to hell, Taylor!” Zac screamed, slamming the door behind him. He walked briskly down the street. Taylor always treated him like he wasn’t worth an ounce of respect. Taylor thought he was God’s gift to the world. Zac had to admit, other than having an ego, Taylor was virtually perfect. He was smart, charming and he had the look all the girls loved. He could get laid by anyone he wanted. Zac laughed bitterly. He couldn’t even get laid by his girlfriend, or should he say ex girlfriend. Cami had dumped him, and he didn’t even know why. Zac kicked a rock furiously. It just wasn’t fair. His brother had it all…and he had nothing.
“Hello?” Zac answered the phone. There was a pause on the other end.
“Hi, Zac.” It was Cami. Zac wondered why she was calling. His heart skipped a beat, maybe she wanted to get back with him.
“Hey, how are you, Cami?”
“Um, I’m fine.”
“What have you been doing?”
“Not much.”
“So…”
“Zac…do you want to get together tomorrow night?” Zac’s face lit up.
“Sure!”
“Okay, cool, um, about seven? My house?”
“Okay, I’ll be there.”
“Bye.”
“Bye.” Zac hung up the phone with a gleeful look on his face. He didn’t think that he and Cami would get back together, but it looked like they would.
Zac knocked on Cami’s front door. There was no answer. A moment later, he knocked again. He heard footsteps running in the house. When the door opened, Zac’s eyes widened. She was wearing a short black skirt with a slit to her panty line. She had on a tight red top and leather boots. Zac wondered why he had never seen this outfit before.
“Uh, Hi.” Cami laughed at his expression and led him in by the arm.
“Hi yourself,” She said.
“Where are we going, anyhow?” Zac asked, still looking at the outrageous outfit.
“Upstairs.” Zac froze. Had she said what he thought she said?
“Upstairs?”
“To my room.”
“To your room?” Zac squeaked. He couldn’t believe his luck. This would show Taylor. Zac knew how badly Taylor wanted Cami. What guy in his right mind wouldn’t? She had that dark mysterious look. Complete with big brown eyes. Cami took Zac’s hand and they went upstairs. Once they reached her room, Cami pushed Zac back onto her bed.
“I think we both know what we want,” She said, breathing heavily on Zac’s neck. He just nodded. She stuck her fingers under the edge of his shirt and quickly took it off. She straddled him, and began licking and sucking on his neck and chest. Zac just lay back, not really knowing what to do. He trailed his fingers along Cami’s back, enjoying the sensation of her tongue against his body. In a short while all clothing was on the floor, and Zac was getting what he never though he’d get.
Zac woke up the next morning, still happy about the night before. He couldn’t wait to tell Taylor; to be able to watch his expression. He walked down the hall to Taylor’s room. He heard him talking, obviously on the telephone. He was laughing. Zac wondered whom he was making fun of this time. He rolled his eyes and walked downstairs to the kitchen. He’d rub it in Taylor’s face later. He sat at the table, thinking about Cami. It had been great. Zac didn’t know he had the power to make someone scream that loud. He was getting turned on, just thinking about the whole thing. He heard footsteps behind him. It was Taylor.
“Oh, hey, Zac,” He said.
“Hi,” Zac said, trying not to smile.
“What did you do last night?” Taylor sat in the chair on the opposite side of the table.
“Went to Cami’s house.”
“Cool, what did you do there?” Zac laughed, and gave his brother the look.
“What do you think we did, Taylor?” Taylor raised his eyebrows.
“You fucked?” Zac nodded.
“Yeah…if you want to put it in those terms.”
“Yeah, I want to put it in those terms. Well, was she good?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know!” Zac stood up and left the kitchen, smiling to himself. Revenge was sweet.
Zac entered the house, and went to the kitchen. He had been playing street hockey down at his friend’s house. He had decided to rollerblade home, since it was only a couple of blocks. He took a drink of water, and headed upstairs. He paused outside of Taylor’s door. There were slight moans coming from it. Zac rolled his eyes. Another quick screw and Taylor forgets the girl. He started walking past when he heard something that made his heart stop. The girl’s voice was familiar. Zac got closer to the door and listened. No, it couldn’t be her. The voice sounded like Cami. But, she wouldn’t do this to him. Zac decided to take a chance and make sure. He pushed on the door slightly, and to his surprise it slid open quietly. He didn’t particularly want to see his brother naked, but he had to make sure it wasn’t her. But, it was. His brother was screwing his girlfriend. Zac felt frozen, but he managed to shut the door. He made it to his room before he began to sob. This wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fucking fair.
He wasn’t going to let this happen to him anymore. He was tired of that bastard. And he didn’t want Cami anymore either. Taylor had known about the whole thing. Cami only used Zac. Well, revenge would be his. And Taylor would never be able to hurt him again. Zac sat in his room, wondering how to do it. How he would do away with perfection. It had to look like an accident, of course. He already knew what he was going to do with Cami.
“Hello?” Cami answered. Zac took a deep breath.
“Hey, babe,” He said.
“Oh, hi, Zac. How are you?”
“I’m great.” Lying, cheating, bitch.
“That’s good.”
“Do you want to go somewhere tonight?” The last place you’ll ever go.
“Sure! What do you have in mind?”
“How about that restaurant in the tower?”
“That’s a cool place.”
“Okay, I’ll see you about eight okay?”
“Okay! Bye, baby.”
“Bye.” Bitch. Click.
Zac held onto Cami’s hand as the entered out on the rooftop of the highest building in Tulsa. The tower, known for it’s fancy restaurant, and it’s spectacular view. They walked over near the edge.
“Zac, I don’t want to go any further, this is really high up,” Cami said, nervously.
“Oh come on, Cami. This is fun. I won’t let you fall,” Zac said, walking closer to the edge. He stood up on the railing.
“Look at this, it’s great,” He said, motioning for her to come closer. She stepped slowly to the railing and peered over. Zac narrowed his eyes at her for a split second. Then he plastered on a fake grin.
“Come on, stand on the railing for a minute.” Cami looked apprehensive, but climbed up on the rusty railing. Zac’s expression hardened.
“Wow, Zac. You were right. This is so amazing.” Cami turned around to look at Zac.
“What’s the…” She never got a chance to finish her sentence. Zac shoved her with all his might, causing her to slip over the side of the building. He heard her shriek. It was followed by a couple screams from below. He began to put his acting skills to work. He rubbed his eyes, and put on a frightened look. All through the hectic night, and through the fake tears, inside, Zac was smiling.
It was two weeks later, and Zac had talked Taylor into going to the lake with him. They got a small boat, and Taylor managed to grab some beers. Zac let him have them all. He was drunk by the time the reached the far edges of the lake. Where no one went. Zac could hardly hold his excitement inside. Oh how he had waited for this day. To get rid of his perfect brother. Then he could be the one that everyone wanted. Taylor was standing near the side of the boat. Zac grinned to himself. Taylor was making this too easy. Zac cursed under his breath when he realized he hadn’t brought anything heavy to use. He eyed the plastic cooler. That should do the job. He brought it down, hard, on the back of Taylor’s head. To his delight, his older brother crumpled over the side of the boat. Zac turned the boat around and headed towards the dock. He returned home, and in a few hours when no one could find Taylor, he pretended to act worried. There was a call, someone saying they found Taylor’s body on the lake. Zac cried with the rest of his family, but he was the only one who felt no sorrow at all.
