Course Description
          Hospitality Services Management provides pre-employment training in the hospitality industry at various hotels in Beaumont. Students receive hands-on training in the major areas of hotel/resort services. A training rotation through each of the departments in the hotel is provided to each student. On-site training is provided by the hotel department managers and supervised by the course instructor.
          In the second year students receive specialized training in two occupational areas in the hospitality industry. Training is provided on-site by the hospitality service industry employees, managers, and owners.
          All students are encouraged to become Future Homemakers of America (FHA) in order to participate more fully in leadership roles and increase the level of professionalism.
Student Qualifications
Hospitality Services Management I
Student must have good communication skills
Student must have desire to work with the public
Student must be dependable
Student must be able to follow directions
Student must be self-motivated

Student must have successfully completed Hospitality I
Student must have recommendation of instructor
Class Requirements

Student must become member of FHA
Student must be willing to conform to dress code
Student must maintain a notebook throughout year
Student must be willing to do projects outside of class
