Why it exists

Overview
Jane exists as an experiment in parallel computing and as a platform on which to develop skills in areas such as network administration and parallel programming. Several research projects are either planned or currently ongoing using the Jane cluster.

Linguistics Research
Jane is currently being utilized in the Syntactical Structures linguistics research project, a project that attempts to find patterns in natural languages.



Proof of Concept
