| Well, I suppose I'll start with Prom night. It was surprisingly a lot of fun. Contrary to what I said I would do before, I did have a date to prom. I kinda broke down the last few days before that Saturday. Which is really bad of me because it meant that my date didn't exactly have a lot of time.. apparently, that didn't hinder him. At first, I didn't think he would actually show up... I was wrong. I got up to the high school where I was supposed to meet everyone I was going to prom with. Samantha was pretty in pink, Angela was wearing her blue, Jason and Will were nice in their Tuxs, Justin and Scott both looked good in their suits and Bobo the three-legged monkey looked like a king in his....ummm.. fur. After the parents wasted as much time as humanly possible taking pictures, we all headed to Crystal's, a resturant in Irving. It's kinda like a fancified Chuck E. Cheese for adults. Will and I played at least 3 or 4 games of air hockey, we ate at a table made out of a fish tank (pretty fishies). Anyway, we were late to prom. We didn't care. We got to Lone Star Park at about 8:30 or so, give er take. The girls insisted that we have pictures taken near the fountain. Actually... /I/ insisted we take pictures near the fountain. ;) Anyway, we finally made our way upstairs to where the prom was being held. First thing we did was find a table. Second thing... the girls all took their shoes off. Damn.. those things hurt like hell. Anyway.. I walked around seeing who I could find. The others danced, the music sucked. LoL It was stupid. In the long run though, one of the times I was sitting at the table while the others were dancing, I did get what I wanted from who I wanted it. So I really can't complain at all. We left there alittle after 11:30. After prom, we headed back to the high school. Justin, Jason, Will, and Bobo all went to after prom and the rest of us left to come back and get them at 2am. We went up to where I worked so I could see a few people, and then we went to Denny's to get something to eat. We were late picking up the three guys. Again, none of us cared. From there, we went bowling. I was the only one still in my dress, and yes, I did bowl in the damn thing. Badly. But I did it. ;P I also played a few more games of air hockey. We didn't leave there until after 4am..closer to 5, actually. We went back to the high school. Sam left with Justin and Jason, Angela left with Will, and I left with Scott. well...hmm.. I didn't get home until around 10am. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Graduation a week later sucked. It was long, boring and frustrating. I woke up alittle after 5am and apparently immediately began pissing people off. Namely my mother, which of course, pissed off my dad, too. And after grad, it didn't stop. I ended up in tears. *shrugs* screw 'em. My grandparents were there... together.. surprised the hell outta me. My great aunt and uncle were there. My Aunt Stacey and her three kids where there. My parents and my brother, too, of course. Anyway, that lasted from about 8am till 10. My family left soon after ten. I was at the Convention Center till after 11 before I finally left and eventually went home. I don't remember much about the time after that.. I wasn't in a very good mood.. hmmmmmmmmm ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lately, you'd be hard pressed to catch me online. I've been home less and less. And I'm definatly not complaining. I don't like being in my own house much. I've lately gotten sick of the fighting and yelling around here. Eventually, I'll be able to leave it, but I'll not know when anytime soon. I'm so completely sick of this it's ridiculous. I've been spending the good majority of my time at Scott's. I should go see my god-son soon, but I don't know when I'll be able to get over there to do that. :( Hunter is now almost a year old. (July 19th). I didn't think it had been that long ago that he had been born without me. That was one of my few regrets to going to Canada over last summer. Hunter was born while I was there. And I didn't get to put my name as god-mother before Jeff could put his as god-father. grrrrrrrrr heh Well, he's still my lil darlin in any case. He's just gonna grow up way too fast for my liking. : / There's not really much more that I can talk about here without sounding like a total pathetic loon. There's a lot that I could say when it comes to Scott, but I don't think I'll do that... just yet anyway. Eventually, knowing me, I'll start the bragging.. but not now. ;o) |
