Lemuel George Spurgeon

1 _MDCL blue eyes and light complexion, sandy colored hair

Lemuel was married to Malinda Watkins 02-12-1839 in Putnam Co. Indiania. Then to Catherine Cummins in 08-10-1862 in Davies Co. Misssouri and thenMariah White Rhoads (Rhoads Her Maiden Name) 06-10-1877 in Henry Co.Missouri. Meriah is buried in same graveyard as Harlan Ellsworth Spurgeonand family. Have not found Lemuel yet. Further research has proved thatLemuel was married to Malinda Watkins at the above date and they probablyhad at least one child. I believe that WILLIAM Spurgeon is there SON.
If you look at the dates HE would have been born not quite 2 yearsafter the were married and in the same Co. Also her childrens namesreflect her parents and grandparents. James, George and rebecca. Thiscould have also been just popular names for the time but I sincerelybelieve hIM to be Lemuel and Malinda's SON. .10-30-1995 ad on, LemuelG.Spurgin Spurgeon (indexed as Samual G.) Co.
