Hiram Emory

Went to Trenton in 1804. And the to Sullivan Maine in 1807. He was one ofthe leading citazens of the town. Was a Justice of the Peace and and heldmany town offices. Was Post Master for several years and Deputy Collectorof Customs for some four years.
His son John Simpson Emory moved to Boston Ma. Where he was engaged inthe shipping business for forty one years. Being the principle in thewell known firm of John S. Emory and Co. 168 State St, Boston Ma. Also adirector in China Mutal Insurence Co. and President of the East BostonDry Dock Co. A kind Man , always thinking of the intrests of his country.Helpful to the needy.
Abigail Emory was said to be : Distingusted dfor gentleness andrefinement with malice towards none charity towards all.
daniel Emory was well known and well liked. Honest.
Erastus Emory died from a accident 11-15-1882 in Boston.


Mehitable Emory

Sarah was one of Mehitable's daughters she married Hiram W. Emory3-1-1860 and she died in Lockport Ill. 1-11-1828. Her sister Elizabethmarried Ed Farley 11-11-1873 in Lockport Ill.


James Emory

James came to America with his father on the ship James. Married first toElizabeth. She died after 1687. Then married Elizabeth Pidge widow andsecond wife of John Pidge.It was said he was a large man over 300 lbs.but well liked.
