Don arrived from Texas last week and had some great fishing, as well as getting a nice bear on Wednesday, he was quite pleased. This week Rick and Miguel are here and I am happy to report that Miguel took a nice bear this past Wednesday. Richard has passed on a few but is anxious to take one today. We are hoping the weather improves but it looks to be about the same for the next few days. Will keep you posted on Richards hunt. Richard saw a large bear on Saturday last weekend and did not get the shot he needed.

Now that week 3 is here we have Steve, Steve and Shawn, hope I spelt it right, the weather has been wet, very wet, and the waters are rising, hopefully sun will predominate this week, anyways they had not seen much in the way of bears yesterday and methinks the weather has even the bruins down a bit, anyways will keep you updated as to the progress of the hunt.

It is 0940 hours the 24th of May, just got off the phone with Mark and he is out of breath, they are dragging out Steve Ritters bear. I will be talking with Mark in a few hours and will update on the kill.

It is Friday, May 26th, the skies are overcast and it is cool, Shawn got his bear the other day, Wednesday I believe, and now it is up to Number 2 Steve, yesterday the winds were high, not good for hunting, anyways will keep you posted, I was to have an email with some pics but it hasn't arrived yet, will post as soon as I get it,

Seems while Steve was in one stand the bear was dining at another bait, caught on tape eh, oh well that is the way it goes sometimes, anyways 2 for 3 this week, the lads are pleased and Taz is tired, I can tell it in his voice on the phone,

Darryl and dad next, these two both got a bear last year, we will see if they can keep it going, eh,

Well Gerry hunting with Russ and Darryl got his bear last week, all seen bear but only one taken,

I am pleased to report that Gene hunting with Sheets, Cornbread and company, got himself a dandy last evening, hopefully will have pics this evening, not quite as big as Jer's a few years ago but close.

Taz will have to the names, the first pic was the first lad from Texas, and the last bear pic is Mean Gene from West Virginny, a dandy eh.
