One sad night I found myself near tears. After a stressfull day, at the end of a stressfull week, at the end of a stressfull month, I now had a miserable headache and was unable to sleep. I went online as an act of desperation. I don't know why I searched for christmas lyrics, I just did. I was having a horrible time and was about to log off when I finally tried your site. Not only is it wonderfully put together but, for me it was hope bringing. Seeing all thoes great songs helped remind me of happier times and put my bad days, weeks, and month in real focus. As soon as I realized that thing would not always be this tough my headache dissapeared! So I felt it only right to take a moment to show my gratitude for your excellent site, not only extensive, but oy bringing as well. Honestly, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and a merry christmas. :)

Why do you not allow women the right to choose? We all have to recon with God when the time comes, it is not your place to try and make me or any other woman "right with God" and force me to have a baby that I do not want. Pro-choice addresses both the rights of the woman that wants and abortion and the woman that wants to give birth. The sooner you Pro-Lifers lose that "holier than thou" attitude the better it will be. I have had an abortion and I am glad I could make that choice.

I don't have the power to disallow a woman the right to choose, but I get your point. It is true that I advocate a change in law that would make abortion illegal. It is my place as a citizen to lobby for justice. Pro-choice leaves one person out of the picture -- it doesn't address the right of the child to be born.  <>< Tim

Hi I enjoyed your talk at the pplug and (a few months ago) had read some of the prayers you posted. Wanted to mention seeing them last night, but there were so many other topics. Hope you get curious responses from other 'members' on your mention of creation I'm the one who asked you about where you got the I-25 cam url, because I work with city engineering, a part of Public Works, so the traffic unit is related to our civil and SCIP projects. Seeing those cams on your site gave me hope that we had open sourc unofficially, but as Glen said last night, there's more Unix/linux use in utilities than the tax-supported side. I also profess Jesus Christ as my personal savior. It goes back to a confession in 4th grade - Spring, '59 at 1st Christian Church of Englewood, CO, and a lot of providence since. The benefits (blessings) still amaze me; I know I never deserved any of it!

Thanks for the "Grace Before Meals" section. I plan to type them on slips of paper, fold them up, and let the kids pull a surprise grace to read at dinner time. I was in a mystical mood one day years ago when our then three-year-old said of course he knew what God looked like, he was gray. Thinking he perhaps had a pre-birth memory or who knows what, I tremulously asked him to explain. "You know," he said, "God is gray, God is good..."

First, THANKS SO MUCH for making this resource available! I am a cantor in a Catholic church (no dummies, they - want a good cantor, you hire a Jew) and I needed the lyrics to "Good King Wenceslaus" for the feast of St. Steven (it fell on one of my mass ays this year!) The parishioner who suggested it is named is Wenc - purely coincidental, I'm sure. I found it at your site & printed it out and then, with the confidence of a professional musician, proceded to sight-sing it, typos & all ("the" instead of "thee", "Ark" instead of "Hark".)
