Gillian:  I don't want to talk about Jake right now.
Ryan:  We have to tell him, Gillian, about us.  You do want to tell him, don't you?
G:  Of course I do.
R:  He's got to, he's got to know the truth. 
G:  I know.  I don't want to lie to him anymore.
R:  We love each other.  And we belong together.  And, now that we've admitted it, there's no turning back.

G: I don't want to turn back.
R:  So, then, he's got to hear it from both of us.
G:  No.  No.  You're wrong, Ryan.  You're very wrong.

R:  What am I missing?  Gillian, don't you think Jake deserves to hear the truth?  You just said you don't want to lie to him.
G:  I don't.
R:  Well, then, why can't we tell him? 
G:  Ryan, I'm the one who vowed to love Jake for the rest of my life.  It was my doing.  So many people tried to stop me from making this mistake - Edmund, Grandmama, Alex, you.  And I just wouldn't listen. 

G:  You came to my wedding and you watched me marry another man.
R:  You were confused.  Greenlee had you believing lies.  You and Jake were in a custody battle.
G:  It must've been so horrible for you.
R:  I just wanted you to be happy.  You made your choice.  I wanted it to work for you.  Jake's a good man.
G:  Jake always suspected that I still had feelings for you, even when I swore to him that I didn't.  Ryan, I've let so many people down.

R:  You made a mistake. 
G:  We didn't marry Jake.  I did.  And I have to fix this - alone.
R:  What are you going to say to him?
G:  I'm going to tell Jake that I love you, and that I want a divorce.
