Why did I join

         Temple B'nai Israel

members of our Temple talk

We asked several of our members to write down five reasons one should join TBI

My five reasons to join:

I am not just another face in the crowd.  We treat all our members as family.

We are small so our services are warm & personal.

Our synagogue has the feeling & comfort of the old temples with charm & beauty.

We are located in a convenient spot with historical sites & nearby parking.

We have a wonderful study group after services on Saturday morning along with a delightful breakfast.  We encourage input from all.

Hi, all! The reasons I joined and participate in services are simple -

My fellow congregants are nice people with no false pretensions about themselves or others

No-one judges my level of participation or wastes time playing the ''who's the best Jew'' game

I feel that whatever iIdo is done in the spirit of cooperation with my fellow congregants

Only five? Ok, let's see...

1. Everyone is involved in the Shabbat service.

2.  Early morning Service !

3.  Adult discussion following Shabbat service.

4.  Breakfast with small adult group.

5.  Accommodating Rabbi and Cantor.

How's that?
