Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy):

She skipped her Prom to accept an Emmy award for her work on "All My Children". She left the soap to pursue territory that was elsewhere & ended up taking a risky role on a TV show that had to prove itself. Her risk paid off. Now she is a well-known young actress. I would say a house hold name. & even though the Emmy's today ignore her brilliant performances on "Buffy", she takes it with grace, & the knowledge that she deserves what she isn't getting.

Alyson Hannigan (Willow):

This girl has been working since childhood much like many of the "Buffy" cast. She started her career in Atlanta, Georgia. Of late, she's been quite busy with movie roles on "Buffy" hiatus. Some of which are risks in themselves like her role in "American Pie". She likes to take risks & 'different' roles & her ventures have all payed off.

Nicholas Brendon (Xander):

He has done work behind the scenes on many projects- in fact there is little he hasn't done. He's tried every profession- he even tried his hand at studying pre-med- & finally got a break doing "Buffy". He's got a twin brother-Kelly. Unknown to most is that he was an extra on Married with Children where David Boreanaz also appeared.

Seth Green (Oz):

He's the total workaholic, interesting mentions are that he did "My Step Mother is an Alien" with Aly, a commercial with Sarah when she was 4 & he 7, a movie called "Can't Buy Me Love" with Max Perlich(Whisler). He is currently the 'it-boy' of young Hollywood, because he's involved in a lot of projects & producers are always willing to add his name to their projects.

James Marsters (Spike):

Everybody's lovable bad guy in actuality is an excitable actor who studied at Juilliard. He has a love for the stage, but considers the writing on "Buffy" better than a lot of those old plays. Added talents of James: guitar, singing, writing, & painting.

Marc Blucas (Riley):

Do you think that Riley was typecast? Well, you're right. Marc Blucas could just as well be Riley Finn- without the evil fighting nightly habit. He grew up in Pennsylvania, near Lake Erie. He's described as funny, personable, & honest. His love is divided between two activities- acting & basketball. He played while attending Wake Forest College &, also, professionally in Europe.

Emma Caulfield (Anya):

You probably know Emma best as Susan Keats, Brandon Walsh's Junior year of College girlfriend, on Beverly Hills 90210. However, Emma has done guest spots on all sorts of shows such as Saved By the Bell, the new class (which she liked doing because it was in front of a live audience), General Hospital, & Nash Bridges. Caulfield has a laid back attitude toward the entertainment business. Where she says that all actors are neurotic, & therefore she is too, she still maintains a "what will be, will be" attitude toward getting parts. Anya, like many characters, wasn't originally supposed to be a reoccurring character. Emma says that she admires the creative process of "Buffy" & has loved watching her character develop into what it has become.

Anthony Stewart Head (Giles):

He's got 2 daughters & spends half his time in England & half in California doing Buffy. In the states his most-known work is as "the folders coffee guy", a stint on VR5, & most of all, as Giles. However, Tony Head is actually quite the opposite of his "Buffy" character.

David Boreanaz (Angel):

David has wanted to be an actor ever since he saw a production of "The King & I" during his childhood. In high school, he took a different route, being Mr. Football hero. In College, he went back to his roots & attended film college. Out walking his dog, he was spotted by a casting agent out to find an Angel. He got the part almost instantly. By second season of "Buffy", he was told that the producers wanted him to star in a spin-off of the show. Almost 2 years later, "Angel" premiered & became a smash success.

Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia):

Charisma has always been in show business, just not the mainstream. Dancing & performing for audiences throughout her teens, Charisma had a short stint with a College Cheer leading squad. She appeared on such shows as "Baywatch", & napped a lead in the short lived series "Malibu Shores". Being cast as Cordelia wasn't easy, she had to survive many cuts, but finally landed the role as the most insignificant cast member of "Buffy", which a season later, would be just as significant as the other cast members. Two years later, Charisma became the only female in a trio cast of a show even more popular in the ratings than "Buffy", it's spinoff "Angel".

Alexis Denisof (Wesley):

Contrary to popular believe, Alexis is not British. He was born in Maryland, of the United States. However, he's spent half of his life in England. The character of Wesley was supposed to be around on "Buffy" for about two episodes. So, if you think Joss placed him in there sneakily, knowing that he'd be brought over to "Angel" you are very wrong. Joss & Greenwalt grew found of Wesley's unique sense of humor & kept postponing his planned "horrible death". In fact, Doyle was not killed off to make an opening for Wesley (which I think will make some people like the character more). During the Season break between Season 3 & 4 of "Buffy" it was unclear whether or not Wesley was coming back at all, & if he were to return, to what show. Joss called Alexis up during the Summer of '99 & said they might have an opening for him on "Angel". Why? Because they were going to kill a lead & would need a fill-in as Angel's sidekick & confident.
