| My thoughts on the subject of Buffy & Angel |
Buffy 11-19-02 "Sleeper" The thing in England just affirms my theory about what the robed guys are killing - potential slayers. Not only was a girl killed, with an older guy coming later (I thought it affirmed it then) but then Giles comes in - come on, the dead guy so is a watcher & the girl is his charge, a potential slayer who has been trained but not called. I'm not commenting on the cliff hanger, but it would fit for Giles to die because he could still appear on the show & all. But he won't die. The one person you know can not die is Giles because Ripper, the spinoff, is in the works. It's the one thing we know for sure, it's what sort of downplayed the finale last year, when it looked like Giles would die, because I knew that he just couldn't. Anyway, ranty Lark. I still believe that Joyce was real in Dawn's thing. Just that they want us to brush it off so quickly affirms my belief. I theorize that the First can't take form of anyone not killed by mystical means who is good & that it can take form on anyone evil. But think about it - that's why it can take form of Buffy, because she's died of mystical means. But it can't appear as Tara. & it can't appear as Joyce. So Joyce was real, according to my theory. The episode started out really strong but sort of, I felt, lessened as time went on. I just would like to see more moving. The fast-faced nature of this show is why I loved it &, today, I cannot say that I still love. It's sad really. Do you guys get what I'm suggesting about the end of this show? About killing potential slayers. It's just like my end-of-show fanfic on Buffy. Evil, The First, is stamping out slayerhood, slayer being the symbol of good, the thing that balances out the scales in the fight between good & evil. Maybe just simply killing the slayer will kill the force of good. Maybe. But, this is why Faith has to be brought in toward the end. It's a must. Because she may die. I'll shut up, this are preliminary theory thoughts, but this is so what's going on. | ||||||||

Angel 11-18-02 "Apocalypse, Nowish" Um kay. I had to comment because my mind is a buzzing about the whole demon guy & Conner & stuff. So, I don't know about it rising up at the spot Darla had Conner, I don't know about it, but it seems it's either caustious or rejoyious (I make words sometimes) about Conner, dependant on whether it & Conner are good or evil. My theory in English? Well, child of a vampire with a soul with a clause that comes with it - why wouldn't Conner have the same? All the vampire attributes - the strength, the moves- just not the bloodlust or the face-thing, why not the curse? He sleeps with Cordy who, as much as a kid his age can, he probably loves in some form, he loses it. He becomes a force to recon with & perhaps that's what the demon was heralding, the loss of that soul & the entry of Conner into evil. But maybe the events have more to do with Angel. Maybe Angel will get mad or miffed & herald the end. Maybe there's more to this one demon guy. I don't know. But, it is a thought that maybe Cordy couldn't talk to Angel about the end because that's how it happens - she sleeps with Conner (who was supposed to be 16 like 6 months ago, but last week they said was 18 - come on, he's still a minor, admit it!) - & she blocked it out. Maybe that's why Lourne couldn't say it either, he couldn't be the bearer of that news about Cordy or Conner. & who knows, I sure don't. La la. But also I heard rumors during the summer about Angel losing his soul at sweeps & maybe it was a lost-some-info-thru-the-grapevine thing & it was Conner who would lose his soul. Plus, more supporting evidence, Conner is supposed to be a big dark force from prophecies (cause it didn't end up being Holtz coming that was that big bad thing from last year's November sweeps) & how would he get that way? Well, a variety of ways but he's very human now & wouldn't turn overnight - wait, nevermind, he could, but the soul thing would be faster. Yes... Indeed. Yup. Yup. Hey, guys, whatever happened to Sysong? Remember him? I miss him. That is all. Night, folks. Wait, there's actually more to that thought. Whatever happened to Conner supposed to be the one that kills Sysong? & where the hell did Sysong go after he became materialized. Don't tell me it's going to be the kind of thing they drop. Yes, just drop a major plotline. Don't be 90210. Please no! I need sleep. | |||||||||
