Here is my 1914 engine that I built a few years ago. Engine has a DPR CW crank, Scat I-Beams, level 6 welded heads, Web Cam 121/125, 44 IDF's, and a 1-5/8" header. Engine idles at 900 and pulls up to 6800K without any stumbles. It also has a Mallory Unilite distributor which also helps smooth things out. Just about all of the parts came from Aircooled.net
Below are some older pictures, before the digital camera!
I had the muffler and header ceramic coated
In this picture the linkage was a bit high, so I moved it down.
Now the cable doesn't rub the tube. I could have drilled a new hole, but the shroud was already powder coated.
Crank and cam are in

Ready to close it up

Short block all finished
Level 6 heads

Cylinder tin

I cut the tin like a "pie" to clear the manifolds, then welded up the slots

Back of engine

T4 cooler sealed up
with tape

2.5" pipe welded to
front tin for
air inlet

1.625" merged

2.5" Flowmaster Delta Flow

I made up the muffler

Gene Berg traction bar

I made a bracket to hold the bar in place, I felt that it could slip off without it.
