As you have discovered, HTML is a dynamic (constantly changing)
computer programming language. It must change rapidly to keep up with the
perpetually changing Internet. A course that teaches HTML must keep up with
these changes. Feedback is very useful to the instructors as they constantly
modify, update and upgrade this course.
At this time in the semester, I would like to give you the opportunity to
provide some feedback about the facilities used in this course. In a traditional
lecture course, we would be asking about the physical classroom setting. Obviously, a big part of the overall learning environment involves the classroom
facilities. Similarly, in an on-line course, the facilities are important.
In this evaluation, we will ask you to provide feedback about the tools used
in this course, such as CourseCompass, Geocities and other tools. Since this is
an assignment, you will be required to provide your name as you send an email
with the answers to the questions below. (Next week, you will be asked to evaluate
the instructor. This latter evaluation will be anonymous.)
Even though your feedback comments for this assignment will not be anonymous,
I still value your
honest opinion. If there is something that I can do to make this a better
learning situation, then I would like to know about it.
Without the face-to-face meetings between students and instructor, a valuable
non-verbal form of communication is missing. Without the spoken word, a valuable
form of verbal communication is absent. To compensate for these losses, several
strategies can be used. Sometimes, these strategies are effective - sometimes
they lack effectiveness. I need feedback to improve the next offering of this
course. So, with that in mind, please answer the questions that follow. Please
use COPY AND PASTE to put the questions into your email and after answering the
questions send to tcanada1301@yahoo.com with FEEDBACK ASSIGNMENT as the subject.
Again, your grade on this assignment will
depend upon the quality of your answers.
