Join us on Saturday, November 4th for a day in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Visit wineries, learn the art of wine making and wine appreciation, sample the wines, and meet the people behind them. The day starts at 9am at the Finch subway station parking lot to board TCBA Jr’s chartered coach. We will be visiting four wineries. Lunch will be provided.
You must be 19 years or older to attend. Prices are $60 for TCBA Jr. members; $70 for non-members. This includes ONE 2 way coach - Toronto/Niagara on the lake, rides to and from the wineries, lunch, private wine tastings, appreciation seminars, winery tour, and all gratuities. First come, first serve.
Itinerary
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Joseph's Estate Wines - private tour & tasting - 3 VQA wines, 1 iced fruit wine
**Verna Porrone will be leading the group through a tour of the winery, the wine manufacturing process and the tastings portion. Joseph Pohorle has been invited to speak to the group about his experiences as a pioneer in the winemaking business in Canada; some of the barriers he encounters while promote his product worldwide; overview of running a winery; and the future and opportunities in Canada's wine making industry.
