10 Reasons Why TCC ?

First, INTERNSHIP begins in the seventh trimester and continues through the 10th trimester in the New Texas Chiropractic College Health Center (Moody Health Center) designed to care for more 500 patients per day and equipped with a variety of modern adjusting tables, examination rooms, a diagnostic imaging department, a clinical laboratory and the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Second, PRECEPTORSHIP is offered to all students. Each intern is placed in a field visitation program in which the student observes actual office and case management procedures used by practicing doctors of chiropractic.

Third, HOSPITAL ROTATIONS program has been in existence since 1985. TCC interns rotate in major hospitals of the world-renown Texas Medical Center, working with orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, osteopaths, rheumatologists, sports medicine doctors, pain management specialists, psychiatrists, family medicine doctors and others. This existing program has bees an education for both chiropractors and medical doctors alike.

Fourth, PRACTICE BASED EXTERNSHIP program is a true mentorship program designed to allow students to spend an entire trimester interacting with seasoned chiropractors in an intense mentor/student relationship.

Fifth, POSTGRADUATE STUDIES, CONTINUING EDUCATION AND EXTENTION programs are offered which, upon completion, make the doctor eligible for examination leading to diplomat status in Diagnosis, Internal Disorders & Preventive Medicine (D.A.B.C.I.), Neurology (D.A.C.A.N.) or Orthopedics (D.A.B.C.O.). In addition, the college offers certification programs in the following areas: Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.), Clinical Nutrition, and Manipulation Under Anesthesia (M.U.A.).

Sixth, STRONGEST TECHNIGUES, CURRICULUM, & HARD COURSES OF CLINICAL SCIENCES for Doctor of Chiropractic Degree

Seventh, TCC has a KOREAN PROFESSOR, Dr. Suh who is teaching Physical Examination, Pedi-Geriatrics, Internal Diagnosis, etc. He has been meeting with Korean medical society and universities.
