Versatile family room and guestroom, viewed from the entrance.
This recently added room has a vaulted, cedar (tongue-in-groove) ceiling with skylight and ceiling fan. Windows overlook the heath to the east and the backyard to the North. The entrance has double doors. At the opposite end, the cedar-lined wall is the chimney flue from the downstairs family room. The door you see is the closet. We use the room for family activities (there is room for 2 desks that cannot be seen, one with a computer; also a satellite and antenna hookup), or guests (fold-out futon). The carpet is a nice burber. Though the room has independent electric heat, it is usually warm from the heat that rises from the first floor. A wonderful, large (19 x 13) and very enjoyable room.
