| My wife and I took these pictures early one September morning. This lighthouse is still in use and is not available for tours. It is located on Sullivans Island, SC. Standing guard over the entrance to Charleston harbor. Its right in the middle of a neighborhood so, please don't park in someones driveway to take pictures. HA HA! The lighthouse can best be seen and photographed from the beach. I recommend going down past the lighthouse for a few blocks and parking at Fort Moultrie. It is a nice little Park. Then it is a short, maybe one mile walk along the beach to the light, the view of the harbour is great. | ||||
