In the foreword of this book Col.
Finley has more or less given me the credit for all the work etc. that
was necessary to bring to you the history of our Battalion. With out the help of
PFC Franck Pisok and Walter Von Neudegg on the cartoons, CPL Lester Shapp on
the line drawings, CPL Nunzio Dinna on the illustrations and the men from each
platoon and special sections in Headquarters Company writing up their own units
history, it would have been an impossible task.
In thanking them here on this page for
their work is the only way that I can repay them for a swell job well done.
