INTRODUCTION This is the story of three American sisters : Prue, Piper and Phoebe (pronounce : fibi).
The three sisters live together in their family house. Their mother is dead and their father has gone away.
Prue works for an auction house where they buy and sell valuable objects such as paintings, vases, jewels? Piper works in a restaurant, she is a good cook. Phoebe is a student, she is younger than her sisters.
The three young women are not like you and me : they are witches, good witches, they have powers. Prue has the power of throwing things or people away, Piper can freeze time and Phoebe has premonitions, she can see what's going to happen.

SEASON ONE Episode One : Phoebe returns home Phoebe Halliwell returns to San-Francisco to live in the house she inherited from her grandmother with her sisters Piper and Prue. On their first night together, Phoebe is mysteriously led to the attic where she finds the Book of Shadows and reads an incantation that gives their powers to the sisters. Now Prue can move objects with her mind, Piper can freeze time and Phoebe is having premonitions.

SEASON ONE Episode Three : Thank You For Not Morphing The Halliwells' father returns after a 20 year absence, and Prue disapproves strongly. Phoebe,however, is delighted, until she sees her father stealing the Book of Shadows in a premonition. The manor is broken into several times and it seems the book is the main target of the thieves. Prue suspects her recently returned father until the culprits are revealed as the Halliwell's new neighbours who are actually demons called Shapeshifters.

Episode Four : Dead Man Dating Piper's help is sought by a young man who was murdered by a vicious gang leader. Piper soon realises she may have met the man of her dreams.
Meanwhile Phoebe takes a job as a hotel psychic to pay for a birthday present for Prue, but soon regrets taking the job when she receives a horrifying premonition about one of her customers.

Rex is annoyed with the way Hannah is treating Prue at Bucklands. Phoebe is concerned that Piper may be pregnant with a demon baby when she receives a shocking premonition. *********** SEASON ONE Episode Seven : The Fourth Sister A young girl is given the power of witchcraft by a demon who wants to kill the charmed ones. The girl soon develops a friendship with Phoebe , but Prue and Piper disapprove. Meanwhile Andy becomes increasingly impatient with Prue after she cancels dates without any explanations. ************ SEASON ONE Episode Eight : The Truth Is Out There............And It Hurts A demon from the future is sent back in time to kill scientists whose destiny it is to create a vaccine that will destroy him and all other warlocks like him. Prue casts a truth spell to see how Andy would react to the fact she is a witch. The spell doesn't work as Prue expected as Piper and Phoebe are also affected. Now everyone who is near the charmed ones are forced to speak the truth. *********** SEASON ONE Episode Nine : The Witch Is Back Prue accidentally sets free a demon from an object at Bucklands. The sisters soon learn the witch who banished the demon into the object was their great grandmother Melinda Warren. The girls cast a spell to call back Melinda to vanquish the demon again. *********** SEASON ONE Episode Ten : Envy Rex tries to jail Prue for stealing a valuable tiara from the auction house by planting subliminal thoughts in the heads of both the police and the sisters.
