- Data sheets for each job
- About 2 computer lab half-hour periods for data collection and two half-hour periods for creating presentations. One more half-hour period for presentations.
1. Duplicate the data sheets. Divide students into teams of three.
2. Explain the mini-webquest to the class.
3. Take students to lab, pass out the data sheets, have students with the same job title work
together (This seems to really help the students who always need extra help.)
4. Access the webquest on the computer and have students read the webquest together as a group.
5. Students gather information.
6. A team of students (one from each job description) decide on a project about the Santa Fe Trail.
