Survival is the key. The Indian tribe moves from time to time and they have taken you in as one of them but you have to be able to work along side of them and be helpful or they will banish you. Your task will be hard but, with time and effort you will learn and be one of them.
Task 1
You must be able to work cooperatively in a small group. Each group member will have a specific job to complete. The group will discuss how the work is to be divided between each member. Each group will need a story teller, scribe, weatherman, hunter/scout, cook and farmer.
Task 2
Where are you? The scout must locate where your Indian tribe is located by using the given web site. (See resources for web sites)
What will you do today? What is the weather like? The weather will determine what you will do today. Visit www.weather.com to get today's forecast. Let the scribe know what the weather will be like each day so it can be noted in the log.
Task 3
The group must decide what they will wear, what type of shelter you will need for the night, and what you will eat. Be sure to have your scribe note each day's events in the log. Each night the story teller will tell the story of the day's events. (See resources for web sites)
