I am a Home Visitor for a Head Start program in a very rural area. I go into the home and help parents prepare their children for Kindergarten. I work with 10 families and we do 1 Home Visit a week for 1 and 1/2 hours. Then there are also offered 2 grou socializations per month. I like looking up ideas of ways to teach children using everyday household items, so parents don't think they have to have a lot of money to do fun things with their child.
