Day 4:
	Materials:  Textbook, compass, ruler.  Overhead.	

Do Now:  Have students write the converse of some mathematical statements.  This will be a good introduction to the converse lesson.  Hand in homework for a grade.

	In-class Lecture:  Go over theorem 9.5, Converse of the Pythagorean theorem, and show how it is applied in some examples.  Then going over examples 1 and 2, and theorems 9.6 and 9.7.  

	In-class activity:  Lesson investigation: Investigating Triangle Lengths.  First a statement about Pythagorean triples and instructions for the activity.  This will have the students measure the angles of triangles.  Pg. 441.  Go over activity at the end of class.

	Homework:  pgs 444-445.  1-31(odd)
		         Mid-Chapter Self-Test, to be turned in for a grade. Pg. 447, 1-20
