Ripley is growing up nicely and went WD/Best Op/Best of Breed Puppy his first time out AKC. In April, 2006 he was WD and Best of Winners at the ASC of Michigan's spring show. A few weeks later he was WD and Best of Winners again at the Hoosier Working ASC spring show. In July Ripley was RWD on Friday night and then WD twice over the weekend! Then he went WD in November of 2006 to finish his ASCA CH. He loves to be with you and do something. He has shown nice instinct on sheep and has a good start on agility and rally obedience. Tracking is fast becoming his major love in life. In November, 2005 he was certified by Debbie St. Jacques on a track that a lab decided to run all over. Ripley managed to ignore the distraction and followed the track in fine fashion. He also certified AKC. One week after finishing his ASCA Championship, Ripley earned his AKC Tracking Dog title in Ann Arbor, MI. It was a chilly day, but a lovely test and Ripley breezed through his track to find the glove! Thanks to the Ann Arbor Dog Training Club for a wonderful test and helping me through my pre-run nerves and celebrating Ripley's success with me! This winter he went to live with his new owner, Grace, in Texas. There they will work on Rally, Agility, and Obedience titles...maybe earning his VCD1 just like his mother. Grace and Ripley earned 2 first places for their first two Rally legs. What a wonderful way to start their show career together!
