MIGAJÓN CLAY These clay figures are found in Ecuador and other countries in Latin America. This particular clay works well to may the tiniest animals and clay beads. It paints well too! Trim the crust off a piece of white bread. Tear it into pieces and mix one tablespoon of white glue into the bread. Work it with your hands until it goes from sticky to clay consistency. Mold the figures or beads (make holes with toothpicks or needles) and allow to air dry or bake in 200 degree oven for an hour or until hard. (turning often) Use acrylic paints to decorate. |
