Spagetti Snowballs - Sensory Development - Touch
1.Cook noodles and place in muffin tins.
2. Place in freezer until frozen.
3. Remove on "snowball" and offer to your infant (infant should already be familiar with pasta to ensure there is not an allery) in his highchair.
4. He will enjoy the coolness of the snowball on his gums and he will experience the change of state to mushy edible noodles.
Lava Lamps - Sensory Development- Sight
1. Reuse a small water bottle or any clear plastic bottle. Tuperware is too thick to provide desired effect.
2. Fill the bottle half full with coloured water (use food colouring).
3. Add oil to the remaining volume, but do not fill completely.
4. Becasue oil and water do not mix, your child will watch the blobs of colour float around in the liquid.
5. Shake and sway bottle for varying effects.
Ziploc Wonders - Sensory Development- Touch/Sight/Auditory
1. Collect a variety of ingredients from teh kitchen.
       a) jello
       b) yogurt
       c) dried cereal
       d) dish soap
       e) crackers

2. Place each ingredient in a sealed plastic bag.
3. Offer each bag to you child in his highchair to poke and bang.
4. Discuss the effects as the jello seperates and comes together again. Use descriptive words to encourage further exploration.
