Beef and Corn Bake

Quick to assemble, and really flavourful. A great, zesty "take to the lake" dish..
Ground Beef Onion, chopped Cooking oil Kernel
corn Cooked noodles Grated medium Cheddar cheese |

oz. 2 cups 1 cup |
1kg 1 medium 50 mL 341 mL 500 mL 250 mL |
Combine ground beef, onion and cooking oil in frying pan. Stir to break up meat as it browns. Drain off and discard fat. Put meat mixture into large bowl.
Add corn, soup, salt, pepper and ketchup. Stir to mix with meat.
Prepare noodles according to package directions. Drain. Measure. Combine with all ingredients in bowl. Pour into 3 quart (3.5 L) casserole.
Sprinkle grated cheese over top. Cover. Bake in 350ºF (180ºC) oven for 45 minutes. Remove cover and continue to bake until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serves 6 to 8.
