There's something about creating a holiday based around love that is supposed to remind people of how special it is to find someone who understands you, laughs with you, and makes your life worth living. But truthfully, since the day that I met you I have never forgotten how amazing my life became once you were a part of it. Whether we're planning little things like what to have for dinner, or gigantic things like where we'll spend forever, I know that everything I do and every choice I make is based on assuring that you are the happiest, most loved person on earth. Barely a moment passes when I am not thinking about you; I go to bed at night counting the hours before I can talk to you again, and I wake up every morning so grateful that I have found the one person in this world who I want to spend forever with. Forever used to be scary to me, but with you I know that it can only be filled with good things, and even in the tough times I know that I can lean on you and we will get through anything and everything together.
From the moment that I met you, I knew you were an extraordinarily special, thoughtful, wonderful person that I wanted to get to know better. Even now, every single day, I discover new and amazing things that I love about you. So it certainly can't hurt to use a holiday like Valentine's Day to tell you just a few of the things you do that make me realise how lucky I am to be with you. A complete list would take a lifetime to write; but then again, I'm hoping that I can spend every day (not just today) from now until forever telling you how amazing you are and how I will always love you.
You are my world and my reason for living, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you.
Happy Valentines Day,
Love,
--Sharon
I love...
Your smell,
your soft skin,
how you support me
when I’m scared,
your warm hands,
your gutterbrain,
the way you let me
lay on you and listen to your heartbeat,
your easygoing
nature,
your smile,
your hugs,
how you take forever
to get ready in the morning,
your lips,
how you say “I
love you”,
your touch,
the sound of your
voice,
your beauty,
your gay shoes,
your hands around my
waist,
how you’re always
checking to make sure I’m not hungry,
your tongue,
your eyes,
how you explain
British things to me,
your pointy-scary
feet,
your cute lil pjs,
how it’s so easy
to talk to you,
your 10,000 pairs of
identical cargo pants,
your little moans
when you sleep,
your accent,
how you try new
things,
your laugh,
the angelic look on
your face when you sleep,
your hair,
how you say that
you’re not tired and then fall asleep immediately,
your personality,
the way you explain
things, no matter how long it takes to get me to understand
your spirit,
how I know that if
I find chicken on the menu then I can feed you,
kissing you,
your obsession with
teeny-bopper music and movies,
your ghetto-speak,
how you try to play
baseball,
your handwriting,
how you try new
foods,
when you ask me to
open a bottle for you,
your boneless nose,
snuggling with you,
your dorky jokes,
your sexy outfits,
how you try to get
me to take naps,
how you love me no
matter what,
and how you have
given me the chance to love you.
