The Freestyle

(looks ok, don´t know anything bout it)

 

The Browser

A beginners board with plastic trucks. Easy 2 do small grinds, it probably breaks if u use it for more heavy snaking. So if u are gonna snake a bit heavier buy a Skinner or a Stiffy.

 

Good:

1. Very light weight (due 2 the plastic trucks)

2. Plastic plates (lasts longer then wooden)

3. It has suspension (makes street riding "smoother", but makes no diffrence in park)

4. Low price

 

Bad:

1. Does not last 2 long (if u snake "hard" with it)

2. Plastic trucks (don´t last as long as aluminum trucks)

3. Short bar (Get´s wobbely and u can´t get that much speed)

 

What I think of it: Good 4 beginners but sux at rougher ridin.

The Skinner

The most popular snakeboard right now (I own one so i can understand why)

A great allround board. The plastic plates, aluminium trucks and the suspension makes this board exelent 4 street riding but also rides fine in parks.

 

Good:

1. Plastic plates (lasts longer then wooden)

3. It has suspension (makes street riding "smoother", but makes no diffrence in park)

3. longer bar (then the browser, makes it easier 2 get more speed)

4. Low price

 

Bad:

1. Shorter plates (then the Stiffy, makes stalls and slides a bit harder)

 

What I think of it: Great board, superb on the street.

The Stiffy

This board is more designed 4 parkriding then street. Becouse this board is more heavy then the skinner, it´s more suitable 4 longer people and pros and is more 4 parkriding then street.

 

Good:

1. Long plates (makes stalls and some slides easier)

2. Longer bar (then the Skinner)

3. It has suspension (makes street riding "smoother", but makes no diffrence in park)

 

Bad:

1. Wooden plates (doesn´t last as long as plastic)

2. Heavy (makes it harder jumping)

3. The bar is 2 stiff (probably why they called it the stiffy)

 

What I think of it: 2 heavy 4 my liking and it´s not as good on the street as the skinner (but still ok).

The Loadie

By the looks i´d say this board is superb 4 street.

 

Good:

1. Super long plates (makes stalls and some slides much easier)

2. Comes with bindings (so u don´t have 2 buy that 2)

3. It has suspension (makes street riding "smoother", but makes no diffrence in park)

4. Longer bar (then the Stiffy)

 

Bad:

1. Too long plates (They probably break easy)

2. It looks kinda boring (does´nt really matter)

 

What I think of it: Probably great on the street but i don´t think it is 2 good in the park.

The Spludge

These boards are said 2 be the best ever, and they are, I can´t really say any thing bad about it. Buy one if can!

The newest board from SBUSA (Snakeboard U.S.A). the low alltitude, the long bar and the wooden plates make this board a great allround board.

 

Good:

1. Looks great (does´nt really matter.....well maybe a little bit)

2. No holes in the trucks (makes grinding easier....?)

3. Light bar (lighter any other bar)

4. Wide bar (wider then any other bar)

 

Bad:

1. It has no suspension (makes streetriding "rougher", but makes no diffrence in park)

 

 

What I think of it: I think it´s a super snakeboard! (looks good and works good!)

Anderson Streetboards (I do NOT like them)

 

Champ

Why would u want a Snakeboard that looks like a sk8board? Actualy it´s not even a Snakeboard it´s a "Streetboard". What are they trying 2 do? Sk8ers don´t like snakers the way it´s now, so why build these boards? Do they think sk8ers will like us more if we copy thier sport 2 the max whitout calling it a sk8board? I think they should stop making these things befor every snaker has had a sk8board smashed on thier heads! And it´s probably heavy (germens built it)

Same as the champ....but a bit better.

The Anderson One

Looks neat but it´s probably heavy (germens built it)

What I think of it: There is probably nothing wrong with it (exept that Anderson made it)

 

Good:

1. It at least looks like a snakeboard.

2. Big bar/s?

3. Looks cool.

 

Bad:

Don´t have the time 2.

 

Rating: 3 (I´d actually buy it if I could....)
