| March 3rd, 2001 Ten Days left In ten days we will be in Utah. Ten days is a long time, but we are throwing rocks everyday to get ready to take on the world. Last night we had a funrasier at Bally Haly Golf and Country Club, It went great. We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us. | March 4th, 2001 Nine Days Left It was a pretty relaxing day for the Gushue rink. It's probably the last relaxing day that we will get before we leave. The boys had a game against coach Jeff Thomas, Mark Nosworthy, Gene Tricket, and Jamie. Team Canada had a really good game and Won Qoute for today "4 Hours"?!?! Todays new word "Urminal" |
| March 5th, 2001 Eight Days left Today has been the most exciting day since we won the Nationals 3 weeks ago. You are asking why.... The team Canada Clothes came in the mail. "ya wants to see five fellers go". Most people will see us sporting our clothes at the club but for the people who won't, we got 6 on ice polo shirts, and 6 mockneck shirts (3 black, and 3 white in each), on ice and off ice coats, and the ist goes on.... Also yesterday we were invited to the city council meeting as guests and received a small gift. We would like to thank the City of St.John's for their support. Also we have started going to a team members house for supper every night untill we leave. Last night we were at Brads house, and I would like to say that Brad's mother,Maureen, makes the best spaghetti ever (sorry mom) Quote for today "Holy white out" (you know the coach has been around the team to long when he starts talking like them) Todays new word "Woubsite" (website) |
