The park has hiking and bicycling trails, and plenty of lawn space for frisbee, volleyball and other sports. Further down toward the Crown Memorial Beach, there is a baseball/softball court and a 2.5 mile stretch of beach. The problem is that it is popular and can get very crowded during the summer.

Although we tried to get there earlier, most of the sites were taken. We ended up with a site in the back, without green lawn. Still, it was a lot of fun to see everyone.
