Castro Valley, CA

The Earl Warren Park in Castro Valley has a wonderful playground, plenty of shade, open field, and parking spaces. It even has an enclosed area for dogs to run free.

The weather was very cooperative, despite the preceeding weekends of rain. Though there were times when we wished we could have a remote control that can turn off the wind and the cold, it was sunny, and we were very thankful.

This year we provided hamburgers, turkey burgers, hot dogs and hot links. People brought drinks, snacks, and desserts. Thanks everyone! As usual, there were tons of food. There were even some giant ants!!

The picnic lasted until about 4:30 pm, when the party was moved to the TeamChinn residence. There was more merry-making and we ended with watching the movie "Titus"

It was really great seeing everyone, especially those we have not seen for years. This is exactly the reason why we have these picnics, to see you all and to catch up.
