Goals scored by Julius and Firdaus each did not help the team to lose to the Sarawaks.The Sarawaks did not win the match but team Forza lose to themselves.When the first eleven took the field in the first half, we controlled the match with slicked passing and easily penatrate the Sarawak defence. Firdaus opened the scoring in the 10th min after he beat his marker and Julius extend the lead after a good work by Nizam who were playing at the right flank for the first time.The Sarawaks ocasionally attacked our defence but their effort were mostly harmless.they did pulled one back through their counter attack in the dying minutes of the first half.
On the second half, Forza fielded a new team where all players were replaced.The porous midfield and ineffective strikers were not doing their job defensively.Four soft goals were let in in the space of 30 mins. This mark our first defeat in Singapore this year. Final score 2-5.
