THAI'S DRAMA IN YISHUN 24/10/04

Singapore 6 - Thailand 4. Thats not the tiger cup or the sea games result but its happened in our fixture. A very cocky, arrogant team consists of Thais player who were confident of beating us with ease.Unfortunately for them, the score doesn't lie. As expected, the Thais controlled the match in the opening five minutes with passing the ball around. After we settled down, we started to pull constructive plays of our own. With the new boy Ahmad who played as the playmaker roll did brialliantly with his simple distribution to the wingers. Our Wingers of Dajal and Azmi did enough damage to give hard times to the defenve with their crosses. In the 20th min, Julius who played upfront with Siddiq opened the scoring chart after beating his man marker with his silky skill. He could added the second if not for the post which denied him. The in-form Siddiq added another goal in the 29th min. For drama lovers, the show started here when the Thais earned two penalty kicks by play acting to equalise just before half time.
Team forza started the second half with bombarding the King Star FC goalpost with shots after shots. It paid dividend when Dajal and Azmi scored each goal to take the team lead to two goals. The Thais did not give up. They pulled some attacking plays of their own. They did equalise again after some sloppy defending by K. In the 70th min, Rahim who replaced Julius upfront, did not dissapoint his fans by scoring a goal. Man of the match Azmi scored the final goal to bury the Thais completely. The Thais were lucky enough not to concede another goal just before the final whistle when azmi broke free from the defence where he was one on one with the keeper, the referee blew the whistle. Final score 6-4 to team forza
