Grasmere Lane, a part of the Caradon Railway trackbed
The Looe and Cardon Railway track at Grasmere lane near Pontin's piece
May 2000

This well preserved stretch of the line is located between Minions Village and the head of the Gonamena Incline.
Here the public footpath follows the trackbed and granite rail setts can clearly be seen in place.
These granite setts were used instead of wooden sleepers and it was estimated that about 120,000 of them must have existed on the railway.
