Utility allowing gp2 to run without CD - gp2nocd
The following are the tracks I've tested and suggest
for use in 2000/01 gp2championship season, instead of 94 versions of the
tracks. All tracks are presented thanks to grandprix2.com
website.
Brazil
'99 - A very nice track, more challenging then '94. Pitlane bug,
and weird CC in turn one.
Monaco
'99 - Widened track. Better then '94 Version. Turn one is slow
1st gear. Realistic laptimes.
Barcelona
'99 - Different texture, 99 layout, no bugs.
France
'99 - Not much changed. Different texture, and slightly
different kerbs, but that's it.
Montreal '99 - A very good trackbetter then original. Very challenging, very good track.
Silverstone '00 - Like 94
version with different texture, ads and changed last chicane, but very
good.
Hungary '99 - Just like 94
version, but with much lower kerbs, thus making them easier to attack.
Spa '99 - Better then 94 version.
More like real 99 track with fences ferther appart, a joy to drive on.
Nurburgring '99 - A good track,
but I'm not sure how realistic it is. No bugs.
Suzuka '99 - A few changes
to 94 version. A bit more slippery, and laptimes in 1.41+ in free practice.
