| Kinesis (our original name) was formed in March of 2001 by several auto enthusiasts in Oxnard, California. Having been members of several different crews in the area over the previous two years, it was decided that we could (try, at least) to do things "better", how we wanted them done rather then listen to someone who didn't really care. There were other memebers than the ones listed below but left due to personal conflicts with in the crew. |
| The main goal with KINESIS was to set an example for other area car crews to look up to. As most of the crews in the 805 are more concerned with picking up hoes and talking a grip of mess about other crews, KINESIS is trying to keep it about what it should be about in a car club: THE CARS. Whether we are racing or showing or just crusing around or hanging out we want to keep the scene true to its roots. Although we might not all have a lot of money or the newest and greatest cars, the one thing we do have is PRIDE, in ourselves and our cars and we try to reflect that in our actions. The next chapter of our evolution begins now, with the transition of our old name, KINESIS, to what will become our new crew, REIKI. While the name and membership may change, the same values the KINESIS was formed on will be carried over and taken to the next level in REIKI. As Peter starts his Horesman motorcycle division and Miguel opens a new book with his Max-Q division, the possibilities for us, not only as a car club or a group of friends, but a family, will continue to grow by leaps and bounds. |
